Whether you have just returned from a J-term study-travel experience or are considering participation in a future study-travel course, please join this intriguing conversation, “Travel Course Experiences: Studying Human Rights in the Netherlands,” on Thursday, April 23 from 3:05–3:25 p.m. in Lindgren Pavilion, 2nd floor of Birdsong Hall.

This session will be led by Drs. Brittany Freelin (Criminology) and Scott London (Sociology/Anthropology), who taught courses in the Netherlands this past J-term focused on human rights. Come hear from Ella McClenny ’26 and her perspective on an RMC education that extends beyond the classroom!

The cranes are gathering again this year as we commemorate the 15ᵗʰ Year of Remembrance of the 2011 Great East Japan Earthquake and Tsunami.

Submit that sweeping epic that you wrote about struggling though TSA or an ode to the sunset over a cityscape. We want them all!

Photography

What photos are languishing in your camera roll? An adventure through the Appalachians as an exchange student at RMC? That really cool tree you saw that one time in Spain? Any photo that made you fall in love with somewhere or something, we want to fall in love with it too!

Art & Other

Anything else that encapsulates your time abroad. That watercolor you did while at the beach, a rambling monologue you were working on for a podcast, a playlist that defined your study locale, etc. Take a picture or download the file and send it our way!
